Placer Blues was started to bring a new, vibrant, exciting soccer club to Placer County...dedicated
to player development. The founder and director of Placer Blues is Gregg Thompson.

The objectives
of Placer Blues are to:

develop the footskills of each players so they can play at the highest level |

create a soccer environment that is competitive, focused and fun |

provide a detailed, step by step program that will help each player reach his or her soccer goals whether it be at the college level or higher |

establish a club that is accountable in all ways...to parents, players and coaches |
We will obtain our player development objectives by training 2-4 times per week depending on the age of the soccer player.
- U9 & U10 players - twice a week
- U11-15 players - three times per week
- U16 & up - three - four times per week
- We follow age specific curriculum designed by Gregg Thompson that is designed to help each player reach his/her potential.
